Prepare Food for Families of the Deceased

 Elaine Windham, Gail Mayeaux and Carol Clausen call parishioners

to donate and prepare food for families of the deceased.

They notify parishioners about needed food and delivering to the

church’s hospitality room, or to the KC Hall. The family is responsible

for getting the food from church after the funeral. The

church side door is left open so people can deliver directly to the

hospitality room. If you feel called to this ministry, please call

Elaine Windham at 394-3984 or 289-2627 (cell) or the church

office at 394-0314. The committee provides—four meats, four

vegetables, four salads, and four desserts. When delivering food,

sign a paper in a binder so the family can be aware of who has

given food. If you have, or even if you have not been on the receiving

end of this committee’s generosity, perhaps you would

like to sign up to help other families in the future. If we have

many volunteers, you will not be called as often. You can always

decline and ask to be called at another time.
