An historic moment took place September 2, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Fr. Kyle has been hoping to have a wonderful painting of the Divine Mercy. As he says, “Where Jesus is His Mother must follow”. The Vilnius painting of Divine Mercy and that of Our Lady of Perpetual Help have arrived and been installed in the Day Chapel which has been designated as the Divine Mercy Chapel. At 7:30 a.m. Mass, the chapel was filled to capacity. After Mass and before Adoration, Fr. Kyle incensed the paintings and also put Holy Water on the frames so as not to damage the paintings. Those present seemed pleased with the new look of the chapel. The paintings were generously donated by an anonymous donor. Thanks be to God.
