First Communion is one of the highlights of a child’s spiritual life. On Sunday May 3rd, fifty-one children celebrated their First Holy Communion at OLPH. The girls looked lovely in their white dresses and the boys looked sharp in their suits. The weather was perfect for the special occasion. Family and friends joined in to share the day. Congratulations to our students for the prayerful manner and reverence they presented throughout the ceremony. The memories of this celebration will be carried with the children for many years to come. Preparation for the sacraments was under the direction of the following catechists: Shawn Dugas, Gail Mayeaux, Michelle Ranataza and Sandy Roberts. This year’s First Communion was a joyful celebration, congratulations to our young people.
